This English text is a convenience translation. For services in Germany, statutory requirements and the German version may take precedence where applicable.

IVIS MEDIA takes the protection of your personal data seriously. We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law and this privacy policy.

You can usually use our website without providing personal data. Where we collect personal data (e.g. name, address or email), this is voluntary where possible. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent.

Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. email) may have security gaps. Complete protection against access by third parties is not possible.

  1. SSL encryption

    We use SSL (TLS) with the highest encryption level supported by your browser when you visit our website. You can recognise encrypted transmission by the lock icon in your browser. We also use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.

  2. Cookies

    We use cookies. These are small files stored on your device when you visit our site. Cookies do not damage your device and do not contain viruses. Strictly necessary cookies – including the one that stores your cookie choice – do not require consent under § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG; the related processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Google Analytics and the ChatGPT Ads Pixel are each used only with your separate consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw either consent at any time, with effect for the future, via “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies; full deactivation may limit functionality.

    Google Analytics and the ChatGPT Ads Pixel are each loaded only with your separate consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw either consent at any time with effect for the future.

  3. When you visit our website

    When you access ivis.media, your browser automatically sends information that is temporarily stored in a server log file, including:

    • IP address of the requesting device,

    • date and time of access,

    • name and URL of the retrieved file,

    • referrer URL,

    • browser, operating system and, if applicable, access provider.

    We process this data to deliver the site, ensure stability and security, and for administrative purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not use this data to identify you personally. We also use cookies and analytics as described in this policy.

    If you use our contact form, we process the data you provide to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) where applicable. Data is deleted after your request is completed unless retention is required.

  4. Contact

    If you contact us via the contact form or email, we process your details to respond to your enquiry. Email may be transmitted via our provider using encryption where configured. We do not pass on this data without your consent. If we use a newsletter provider (e.g. Mailchimp), registration data is processed according to that provider’s privacy policy.

  5. Analytics & tracking

    We use analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand website usage and measure the results of ChatGPT ads. Each tool is loaded only with your separate consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Without consent for a tool, its script is not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

    Google Analytics

    We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). It uses cookies and creates pseudonymous usage profiles. Google Analytics runs only after you have given your consent. Until then no Google script is loaded and no data is transmitted to Google. In Google Analytics 4 your IP address is used only for coarse geolocation and is not stored; according to Google it is shortened on servers within the EU/EEA. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses and Google’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The simplest way to stop this processing is “Cookie settings” in the footer of this website: withdrawing your consent there stops Google Analytics, prevents any further transmission to Google and deletes the analytics cookies already set. Independently of that, you can install Google’s browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or configure your browser to refuse cookies.     ChatGPT Ads Pixel (OpenAI)

    With your separate consent to the Marketing category, we load the ChatGPT Ads Measurement Pixel from OpenAI to attribute website events to ads in ChatGPT and measure their results. Without that consent, the OpenAI script is not loaded. The Pixel may set the first-party cookies __oppref (up to 30 days) and __obref (up to 365 days). An ad attribution identifier, a random browser reference, the source page and the event time may be transmitted to OpenAI. If Automatic Advanced Matching is enabled in the ad account, supported customer information may also be hashed in the browser and sent with conversion events. The legal basis is your consent under § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.   6. Web fonts (e.g. Google Fonts)

    We may load fonts from providers such as Google. Loading fonts may connect to the provider’s servers. See the provider’s privacy policy (e.g. Google: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/).

  7. Google Maps

    If we embed Google Maps, Google may process data about your use of the map. See Google’s privacy policy to adjust settings: https://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html

  8. Social media plugins

    Plugins from social networks may transmit data to the respective provider when you interact with them. We have no full control over this data. Please refer to the providers’ privacy policies.

  9. Your rights

    Under the GDPR, if applicable, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
